The "NOT SO SCARY" Halloween Party at WDW

As I mentioned before, Katie gave her niece and nephew special gifts this year! For Lily, it was the "Bippidity Boppidy Boutique" Princess day! For Kemp, she gave him the "Not so scary" Halloween Party ticket. Of course, we couldn't let him go without us, so Katie, Natalie and myself also went! Tickets were expensive but, oh, so worth it! SO MUCH FUN! .....That afternoon, it started to cloud up and the chance of rain was 80 %. All we could think about was getting SOAKED at the Halloween party all day! Sure enough, around 5 o'clock, the bottom dropped out of the sky! We were  hoping that maybe they cancelled the party until the next day, but no! They NEVER cancel! So, we put on our trusty rain ponchos and took Kemp and off we went. It was POURING on the way. It was just us on the way to the park and Kemp fell asleep before we even arrived. I was thinking it was a "disaster in the making". But, about 10 minutes after we walked in, BINGO!!!! The villains must have heard our pleas for NO RAIN and sure enough, NO MORE RAIN!!!! When we first walked down Main Street I felt like we were the only ones who braved the weather, but soon, when the rain stopped, the people came! But still, not overly crowded at all! Thankfully, that was the only rain we encountered the entire time, about 3 hours of hard rain and then it was completely gone! The rain cooled things off to where it was almost cool for awhile so I bought us girls some wind breakers . Also, a good  souvenir as well! ....Kemp LOVED the night and it was so much fun. Lily, who does not like scary things chose to stay with Daisy and the guys. Which was good b/c that kept Daisy from having a major melt down when we left! We stayed out late---it was too cool watching the Magic Kingdom transform into a Halloween party! The castle continued to change colors (I got the best picture of our time in WDW with the castle, so good I enlarged it and had it put on canvas! Yeah, that good!) and there were areas where the kids could play games and get free candy. Natalie loved taking Kemp by herself, to Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion was AWESOME, we rode it twice. Just so much fun and so many memories packed into a scary, not so rainy, Halloween night! A perfect night for a little boy, a mom, an aunt and a GranJan!!!!!!

Disney World day 2

Finally, I have things up and running. And it COST ME! LOL! Would you believe I STILL had to purchase $$$ more gigabite (sp?) space? After ALL THAT changing blogs? MY LUCK! LOL! Oh well, it is what it is and I'm kind of glad to have a new blog to write on and post on despite having to pay for more picture space. kind of like a new notebook all fresh and not written in? (yeah, I'm a freak like that!)How do you like my blog  photo?  The photo of the angel? Katie made that with her camera last Christmas. Yeah, she's a great photographer and I cannot WAIT to see the pictures she will make of Bebe Cullen!!!!! Speaking of, we will know in a couple of 3 weeks (I think) what the "bebe" is! YAY!  I'm ready to start buying cute boy clothes or frilly pink ones! Either way, we can't WAIT!....

But, back to WDW! Here is DAY 2 of our time there! WE HAD A BLAST! Started off by Katie giving Lily her b'day present (a wee bit late): Bippidity Boppidity Boutique---a PRINCESS make over! How fun was THAT?!?!?! Check out her "transformation"! She had her wonderful time in Downtown Disney and we met up with Kemp /Brad in the LEGO store and watched Kemp try and decide what he wanted to buy with his Disney gift card! After that we headed to Magic Kingdom where we enjoyed spontaneous parades going by and eating Mickey Mouse ice cream bars and going to all the fun Magic Kingdom venues. Of course HAUNTED MANSION was a must, a couple of times! LOL! Jungle Cruise/Tiki Room--you know all of them! Tomorrow I will post the "Not-So-Scary Halloween Party" that Katie/Jon gave to Kemp for his EARLY b'day gift! Here's some shots to make you smile! And make you remember you own trip to Disney. Which is what Disney does best: help make memories for children of all ages!
