Animal Kingdom>>>>ROCKS!

This was my first visit to ANIMAL KINGDOM! Wow, it was awesome! It was so much fun! I actually really enjoyed the Animal Kingdom parade as well! it wasn't crowded and the characters came right up to us (will post A.K. parade pix tomorrow). We went inside a Vet Hospital and watched the Vet do surgery on a tiny bird! Fascinating. The kids loved the SAFARI RIDE, (we did it a couple of times), and Lily was in heaven b/c she loves animals and  loved the DINO ride. Kemp loved the safari and "It's a Bug's Life"!!!! ....Have I mentioned how GREAT Daisy was on the trip? At not even 3, she did fantastic! AND, she used the POTTY the whole time! (this was HUGE! lol!). She was sooo good and loved everything, too. I loved looking at her sweet little face and wondering what she was thinking as she saw animals/characters/rode rides and saw parades! She took in all in, believe me! LOL!  Nothing was sweeter than looking at the faces of my sweet little ones as they saw something for the first time. Yeah, and looking at my own BIG kids acting like LITTLE KIDS there, too! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! I can't believe to tell you just how much! I just wish we had had the Charles/Rachel/Powell and Blakely and Patrick with us!!!! BUT, one day, we'll ALL go! Maybe even BIG T!!! LOL...A few times I caught that incredible joy , you can see it too! It's  the pix of Lily while on the Safari ride..... Kemp and Lily are more like siblings than cousins and they sooo enjoyed having each other. BUT, see if you can see the pix where they got mad at each other? HAHA! I had to laugh! They pouted for a few minutes, but just like with siblings, they were over it in a flash! I might have to do 2 days worth on Animal Kingdom, I have lots of shots, more coming!!!!!....Enjoy!

The "NOT SO SCARY" Halloween Party at WDW

As I mentioned before, Katie gave her niece and nephew special gifts this year! For Lily, it was the "Bippidity Boppidy Boutique" Princess day! For Kemp, she gave him the "Not so scary" Halloween Party ticket. Of course, we couldn't let him go without us, so Katie, Natalie and myself also went! Tickets were expensive but, oh, so worth it! SO MUCH FUN! .....That afternoon, it started to cloud up and the chance of rain was 80 %. All we could think about was getting SOAKED at the Halloween party all day! Sure enough, around 5 o'clock, the bottom dropped out of the sky! We were  hoping that maybe they cancelled the party until the next day, but no! They NEVER cancel! So, we put on our trusty rain ponchos and took Kemp and off we went. It was POURING on the way. It was just us on the way to the park and Kemp fell asleep before we even arrived. I was thinking it was a "disaster in the making". But, about 10 minutes after we walked in, BINGO!!!! The villains must have heard our pleas for NO RAIN and sure enough, NO MORE RAIN!!!! When we first walked down Main Street I felt like we were the only ones who braved the weather, but soon, when the rain stopped, the people came! But still, not overly crowded at all! Thankfully, that was the only rain we encountered the entire time, about 3 hours of hard rain and then it was completely gone! The rain cooled things off to where it was almost cool for awhile so I bought us girls some wind breakers . Also, a good  souvenir as well! ....Kemp LOVED the night and it was so much fun. Lily, who does not like scary things chose to stay with Daisy and the guys. Which was good b/c that kept Daisy from having a major melt down when we left! We stayed out late---it was too cool watching the Magic Kingdom transform into a Halloween party! The castle continued to change colors (I got the best picture of our time in WDW with the castle, so good I enlarged it and had it put on canvas! Yeah, that good!) and there were areas where the kids could play games and get free candy. Natalie loved taking Kemp by herself, to Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion was AWESOME, we rode it twice. Just so much fun and so many memories packed into a scary, not so rainy, Halloween night! A perfect night for a little boy, a mom, an aunt and a GranJan!!!!!!
